Frauke Gugat​

Frauke Gugat is a seed bead artist located in southern Germany. She discovered her love for beading back in 2006. Fascinated by exploring the endless possibilities to combine the tiniest seed beads into ever new patterns, shortly after she worked on her own designs. Her detailed patterns have been published in bead magazines like Perlenpoesie, Germany, and Bead Art, Japan. She exhibits at bead fairs and participates in competitions. Also, she thrives on sharing her knowledge and passion for teaching classes, first in Europe and then via Zoom in the U.S., always paying attention to the needs of every participant.

Frauke's work comprises all main bead weaving techniques, but she favors Cubic RAW. Drawing inspiration from her interest in geometric structures her ideas develop into unique designs that stand out for their delicate and almost playful decors as well as their harmony. Multilayered and intricate her jewellery is sure to capture the eye. Frauke says: “My designs don’t need precious stones to sparkle”.
