The Regency Reticule

Join us for a two-day class to create this gorgeous Regency-inspired Reticule.  If you love Jane Austen or Bridgerton, you will be familiar with the dainty bags that every lady of fashion carried to complement her gown. The silk bag is lined and gathered up with a Kumihimo drawstring. The bag top is worked in bead embroidery and counted beadwork, and the ensemble is finished with the sweetest necklace to complement the bag. Heather will guide you through the process in easy-to-follow steps, so if you can stitch a basic seam you will love creating this gorgeous bag.

Skill level:  intermediate, confident with thread tension, and able to make thread path and direction changes.

Techniques: basic seam stitching, bead embroidery, right angle weave.

Kits are mandatory and available from the instructor for £85.00+ shipping.  Due to the diverse nature of the materials, kits are mandatory for this class, and Heather is offering a lovely selection of colorways to choose from.

To attend this event, you will need either a laptop or tablet along with the Zoom Application which can easily be downloaded for either Windows, Apple, or Android devices, and an internet connection.  After registering and paying for your class, you will be sent a link to the class the week of the workshop.

Class space is confirmed upon receipt of payment. There are no class refunds unless the class is canceled by SocialBeadia.  If you need to cancel, you may transfer your spot to another student, or you will receive all instructional materials and the option to purchase a kit if available.
